Effect of spin polarization of Fe on ELF near C–Fe bonding for a short C–Fe bond (a) and a long C–Fe bond close to the breaking point (b). The three panels represent cross-sectional views of the same simulation part for the same snapshots and the ELF profile between C and Fe. We perform three static calculations for these snapshots with spin polarization using three different initial magnetic moments. It appears that the initial magnetic moment of iron does not affect the ELF.
