RV constraints on companions of WASP-12 b. The color conveys the fraction of injected signals that were recovered with ΔBIC  >  25. The green contour traces the 95% recovery fraction limit. Companions with a₂  ≈  0.06 au must have ﹩{M}_{2}\sin {i}_{2}\,\lesssim \,46\,{M}_{\oplus }﹩ (i.e., K  ≲  14 m s⁻¹). Separately, any companions with ﹩{M}_{2}\sin {i}_{2}\,\gtrsim \,13\,{M}_{{\rm{J}}}﹩ must be located beyond 10 au.
