Host star metallicity as a function of mean companion density for transiting BDs. TOI-7019b (red) at [Fe/H] = −0.79 dramatically extends the metallicity range probed by transiting BDs and is among the densest BDs discovered. Histograms show the metallicity and mass distributions for companions.
