Another example for the detailed evolution of CO WD+RG binaries using the MESA code: evolution of mass transfer, wind mass loss, WD/donor mass, orbital period, and radius of the donors are shown as a function of time. The right and left panels are for a nonmagnetized and highly magnetized WD (B = 2.5 × 107 G) with magnetic confinement, respectively. The initial masses of the WD and RG donors are 1.2 and 1.1 M ,and the initial orbital period is 120 days for both cases.
