The virial radius of M101, ∼250 kpc, is displayed as the blue dotted circle surrounding M101. Unrelated background galaxies from P. Bennet et al. (2017, 2019) are not shown. The virial radius of NGC 5585 (dotted gray circle) is estimated based on its mass (L. C. Hunter et al. 2025).
