Electron density map derived from [S II] λλ6717, 6731 doublet ratio, assuming electron temperature of 104 K. The values we obtained are slightly higher than the average value from LIRG and reach>103 cm−3 in the core of object 3. This is a significant fraction of [O II]’s critical electron density (3 × 103 cm−3) and might indicate the existence of a buried narrow-line region (more discussion in Section 4.1).
