Effects of baryons on the DM outer core. Note that any such effect only alters the details of the outer core without jeopardizing the DID mechanism, as both the inner core and the sharp density drop remain stable. Significant alteration of the DM outer core occurs only when the parameter κ_b ≳ 1, but κ_b < 1 is expected for dwarf-size galaxies.
