Caption: Figure 10.

Luminosity function (LF, left) and mass function (MF, right) for a total of 3896 M dwarfs within 25 pc, including the 3352 primary M dwarfs in RMSTAR, their 305 wide stellar companions, plus 239 recovered from systems with higher mass primaries. Masses were calculated using the MLR at MV of T. Johns et al. (2026, in preparation); see Section 5.4 for details on the methodology. Primaries are shown in red, resolved wide companions in blue, suspected unresolved multiples are in white, and M dwarfs with higher mass companions are in gray. Vertical black lines are drawn at MG values corresponding to factors of two in mass in both panels, from left to right, respectively, at ﹩{ \mathcal M }﹩ = 0.60, 0.30, 0.15, and 0.075 ﹩{{ \mathcal M }}_{\odot }﹩. The derived MF for M dwarfs in the solar neighborhood is shown with a bold black curve.
