TLS injection–recovery test at the candidate period of P = 19.74 days. Synthetic transits of increasing planetary radius were injected into the detrended light curve and recovered with the same pipeline; the recovered SDE is plotted against injected radius. The dotted line marks the baseline SDE and the dashed line the adopted recovery threshold. The candidate TOI-789.04 (star, SDE =24.5) lies well above the threshold, confirming that a transit signal of its inferred size is robustly recoverable and that the nondetection of smaller radii is consistent with the noise level.
