TESS target pixel file (TPF) of TOI-789 (TIC 300710077) for Sector 98, with flux per pixel shown on a logarithmic color scale (e⁻ s⁻¹). The SPOC photometric aperture is outlined in red and the target is marked with a star; open circles denote Gaia DR3 sources, with symbol size scaled to brightness. The only bright source in the field, the neighbor TIC 300710065 (T = 9.7), lies ∼80″ to the southeast, well outside the aperture and therefore unable to be the origin of the transit signals. The contaminant TIC 300710075 (Δm ≈ 2.6) falls within the aperture and is responsible for most of the dilution corrected in Section 2.1 (CROWDSAP ≈ 0.855).
