Two-sigma upper limits on allowed exomoons around LP 890-9 c using four different methods (four colored lines, see top legend). Our limits agree with theoretical expectations (gray dashed line) and fall into tension with the possibility of LP 890-9 c enjoying total solar eclipses. We annotate real moons of the solar system in black, for which eight are excluded by all four methods. Note that the Hill radius is expected to lie at ∼19 RP. Roche limit estimated using forecaster (J. Chen & D. Kipping 2017).
