VLBA 20 cm large area image produced using natural weighting. This image shows an area out to about 1﹩\mathop{.}\limits^{^{\prime\prime} }﹩3 radius around the nucleus of NGC 7479 and reveals the lack of any detectable continuous extended emission outside the nucleus. The contour levels are at 12 μJy beam−1 × (−3, 3, 6, 12). The beam size is 0﹩\mathop{.}\limits^{^{\prime\prime} }﹩018 × 0﹩\mathop{.}\limits^{^{\prime\prime} }﹩016, and the PA is 16﹩\mathop{.}\limits^{\unicode{x000b0}}﹩ 6. The beam is near the lower left corner but unresolved because of its small size.
