The ratio of the absorption coefficient per KORG and per MARCS in the solar atmosphere (indexed by Rosseland mean opacity, τ ros). Agreement is good, except in the blue and ultraviolet where KORG uses more recent metal opacities and the effects of line blanketing (handled separately in KORG) in MARCS become large.
