Values of ﹩{\dot{M}}_{2}/{\dot{M}}_{1}﹩, ﹩{\dot{J}}_{g}/\dot{M}﹩, and ﹩\dot{J}/\dot{M}﹩ from q = 0.01 to q = 1 at ﹩{ \mathcal M }\in \{10,20,30\}﹩ disks with ν = 0.001, averaged in time over the last 500 orbits of each simulation. Although all quantities are nonmonotonic, as soon as symmetry is broken and M 2 < M 1, ﹩{\dot{M}}_{2}\gt {\dot{M}}_{1}﹩. Although when moving from ﹩q\sim 1﹩ to ﹩q\sim 0.2﹩ gravitational torques grow weaker, the gravitational torque suddenly (in q) becomes negative, at mass ratios that depend on Mach number. These negative torques correspond to decreases in ﹩{\dot{M}}_{2}/{\dot{M}}_{1}﹩ in the ﹩{ \mathcal M }=20﹩ and ﹩{ \mathcal M }=30﹩ cases, which are discussed in Section 3.2.1. Numerical values are provided in Table 4.
