Dust-to-gas mass ratio (R _D/G) needed for a range of central stellar luminosities to produce ﹩{L}_{[{\rm{O}}\,{\rm\small{III}}]}^{\mathrm{peak}}﹩ that matches the observed PNLF cutoff magnitude, for models with m _ej = 0.1, 0.3, and 1.0M _⊙ For reference, 1–3M _⊙ progenitors can produce PNe hosting post-AGB stars of ∼8 × 10³ L _⊙, and ≳5 × 10⁴ L _⊙ for 6–10M _⊙ progenitors.
