Comparison of the new z = 2–5 UV LFs we have derived from the HFFs (light- and dark-gray shaded regions) and the new blank-field results of Bouwens et al. (2021a; solid magenta circles) against previous LF results in the literature including those from Parsa et al. (2016; green crosses), Alavi et al. (2016; black open diamonds), and Weisz et al. (2014; open blue circles). While the comparisons here focus on previous results focusing on the faint end of the UV LF, comparisons to brighter UV LF work (e.g., Steidel et al. 1999; Reddy & Steidel 2009; Oesch et al. 2010; van der Burg et al. 2010; Finkelstein et al. 2015; McLeod et al. 2016; Mehta et al. 2017; Adams et al. 2020) can be found in Bouwens et al.
