The coordinate system of Sanghavi & Shporer (2018) has been extended to include the orbital geometry of the planet around its host star. The coordinate system is defined by the z-axis aligned along the rotational axis of the planet, and the xz-plane, which contains the line of sight, ﹩{\hat{{\boldsymbol{v}}}}_{{\rm{g}}}﹩, at an inclination angle, θv, from the z-axis. Currently under the simplified assumption that the normal to the orbital plane is coincident with the rotational axis, the planetary phase is defined by the azimuthal angle ϕpl.
