(a) Distribution of the surface density along the distance from the center ﹩\alpha ( \mathrm{J}\,2000.0) =5^{\mathrm{h}\,}17.6^{\mathrm{m}\,}﹩, ﹩\delta ( \mathrm{J}\,2000.0) =-69^{\circ }2^{\prime }﹩ determined from the kinematics of the H I (Kim et al. 1998). The region within 1.7 kpc from the center (dashed line) is completely covered by the current survey. The surface density is derived by dividing the mass of the clouds by the area covered by the survey. (b) Distribution of the surface density along the P.A. starting from north to east in a counterclockwise direction with respect to the kinematic center in (a).
