Cyg X‐1: product of QPO LF ν_QPO (﹩\nu _{L}﹩) and the best‐fit diffusion time of HF WRN ﹩t_{0}﹩ vs. Γ. The decrease of ﹩\nu _{\mathrm{QPO}\,}t_{0}﹩ with Γ implies that the Compton cloud contracts when the source evolves to softer states.
