Line profiles as a function of τ and β for the pure scattering case (top) and the scattering plus absorption case (bottom). Primary photons are generated in the bottom of the outflow. In each case, the fixed parameters are ﹩E_{0}=6.6﹩ keV and ﹩kT_{e}=0.1﹩ keV. Spectral lines as a function of τ are for ﹩\beta =0.1﹩ and that as a function of β for ﹩\tau =2﹩. Note the case with notation ﹩\tau =0.0﹩ (left panels) corresponds to ﹩\tau =0.01﹩.
