Near‐IR rest‐frame spectra of echelle orders 49 and 47 for M82‐F and a range of template supergiants. The spectra are identically normalized but offset vertically for clarity (zero points are −0.7, 0.3, 1.3, 2.3, and 3.3; bottom to top). The cluster spectrum closely resembles the supergiant spectra, with the features "washed out" by the stellar velocity dispersion (e.g., the CO band heads at 1.5582 and 1.6189 μm).
