EMC2 and Richardson‐Lucy reconstructions of the Chandra image of NGC 6240 are compared. (a) The raw data and (b) the posterior mean EMC2 restoration. The lower two panels are the Richardson‐Lucy deconvolutions, stopped at (c) 20 and (d) 100 iterations, respectively. The Richardson‐Lucy restorations clearly undersmooth the image, aggregating the intensity at "clumps" in the image.
