C IV line profiles (black) calculated with our code in 10° increments for the fiducial model discussed by SV93. The profiles calculated by SV93 (as digitized from their original figure) are plotted in gray. Since SV93 did not include thermal emission from the wind, thermal emission was also suppressed in our calculation; including the wind emission does make a significant difference in the profiles.
