Calculated temperature‐sensitive line intensity ratios in O‐like S. The squares, circles, and triangles represent the intensity ratios I_λ714.8/I_λ871.7, I_λ878.8/I_λ871.7, and I_λ897.4/I_λ871.7, respectively. The cross on each curve represents the intensity ratio value measured in the coronal spectrum taken at a height of 21,000 km above the west equatorial limb (Feldman et al. 1997) and the corresponding derived temperature.
