Distribution of measured Hα + [N II] equivalent widths for the KISS ELGs. The median value of 41 Å is indicated. The measurement of equivalent widths from objective‐prism spectra tends to yield underestimates of the true equivalent widths, so these values should only be taken as estimates. The survey appears to detect most sources with EW(Hα + [N II]) > 30 Å.
