Fraction of candidates that are confirmed as quasars as a function of ﹩P( Q) ﹩. This was computed including color as one of the parameters, but the results without color are essentially identical. The dotted line has a slope of unity. The probability is a good predictor of the likelihood that a candidate will turn out to be a quasar.
