The two active regions located on the east and the west limb. The pixel size is 4﹩\farcs﹩9, and the field of view is 128 (north‐south) × 512 (east‐west) pixels. East is to the left, and north is up. The comparison of the two images with same exposure time shows the loop structures with increased X‐ray intensity in between the two active regions in the west limb picture. The exposure times are indicated at the bottom of the slices. The active regions are saturated in the long‐exposure images, and the spillover photoelectrons bleed to the north.
