Caption: Fig. 5.

Reprocessing in passive uniformly flaring disks: ﹩H\propto r^{z}﹩. Left‐hand panel, bottom to top: ﹩z=﹩ 0, 9/8, and 5/4. Solid lines: Our results with no disk‐to‐disk reprocessing (stellar reprocessing only); dashed lines: Ruden & Pollack (1991) analytic results; dotted line: Safronov (1969) flat disk approximation. The models agree very well with previous work. Right‐hand panel: Results showing five disk‐to‐disk reprocessing iterations for three uniformly flaring disks. Solid line: ﹩z=﹩ 0; iteration has no effect. Dotted and dashed lines: ﹩z=﹩ 9/8 and 5/4 respectively. Iterations make temperature profile more shallow at large radius than would be predicted without including the effects of disk‐to‐disk reprocessing.
