CHDM2 cold vs. hot densities: slices (zoomed in). Hot structures are smoother than the corresponding cold ones. Single hot clumps (b) contain multiple cold cores (a), and hot clusters (d) contain mltiple tight cold groupings (c). The lower left panel shows the hot/cold number ratios. The more reddish colors show the extended dark matter structures whereas the higher density green and yellow regions are likely sites of galaxies.
