Galaxy halo mass distributions (δρ/ρ ≥ 30, 33 cell masses). The higher small‐scale power of CDM results in more collapsed objects than CHDM. The higher bias of CDM1.5 effectively lowers the threshold for halo identification, thus further raising the total number of halos, except for the most massive halos (for which CDM1 dominates, being the most evolved model). These massive halos are no doubt overmergers which require breakup. The total number of halos is 37,164 for CDM1; 45,592 for CDM1.5; 29,151 for CHDM1; and 29,765 for CHDM2.
