Two‐point correlation functions ξ_GG(r) for loose groups (thick lines) and ξ_gg(r) for galaxies (thin lines), within the same galaxy sample(s): (a) PPS1; (b) PPS2. Error bars are ±1 σ bootstrap. In both samples, ξ_GG gsim 2ξ_gg systematically, though ξ_GG ≈ ξ_gg within 2 σ error bars. Also, both ξ_gg(r) and ξ_GG(r) in PPS1 are slightly higher than in PPS2.
