Composite images of 427P obtained between UT 2023 July 26 and UT 2023 December 8. North is up, and East is to the left in all panels, and labeled arrows show the antisolar (− ⊙ ) and negative heliocentric velocity (−v) directions. Smaller panels are 30″ × 30″ while the larger panel is 60″ × 240″. The object is centered in the two smaller panels, while it is near the left edge of the large panel with the tail (indicated with vertical arrows) extending ∼190″ in the approximate direction of the negative heliocentric vector projected on the sky.
