An example of the diversity of the D and G bands observed in the CCs examined: (a) Murchison and (b) Allende. The D and G bands of Murchison are broader and centered at higher wavenumbers than those of Allende. This indicates that the organic carbon in Murchison is more disordered than the organic carbon in Allende (H. Busemann et al. 2007).
