The distribution of total exposure time in the coadded spectra, measured in hours. The histogram is broken down by the assigned z Q redshift quality. This demonstrates the benefits of the depth of the observations, as the lowest-quality flag, z Q = 0, is overrepresented among galaxies with low exposure times, and the highest-quality flags are overrepresented among the highest exposure times.
