Fraction of isolated MSPs in GCs as a function of the encounter rate per single binary (γ, upper panel) and as a function of the ratio γ/aH (lower panel). No clear correlation is seen considering the full GC sample or the subsamples of core-collapsed and non-core-collapsed. These plots indicate that γ is not a good predictor of the observed fraction of isolated MSPs in GCs. The most compelling case in both plots is that of NGC 5139 (ω Centauri), which has a relatively high ﹩{{ \mathcal F }}_{i}﹩ and very small γ.
