We see a wide range of extinction values for ages under ∼5 Myr (log(g) < 4.0) with no apparent trend with time, suggesting that the process of revealing a star is very stochastic. Stars with similar ages have extinctions that range from nearly zero to ∼40 mag. After ∼5 Myr, no star has more than 1 mag of extinction. The color bar shows the spectral index (uncorrected for extinction).
