When comparing solar rotation–averaged speeds in the inner and outer heliosphere, the gradual slowing of the solar wind becomes readily apparent. This figure has the same format as Figure 4, except now the solar wind speeds at NH (orange) have also been solar rotation averaged (25.38 days).
