Photometric precision (rms scatter) as a function of Kepler magnitude for our detrended light curves. A subset of consecutive quarters all falling on different channels are shown. While these quarters are selected arbitrarily, they are reflective of the overall photometric precision achieved. This figure demonstrates the sub-millimagnitude precision (≲10−4 mag) achieved for the bright stars and the increase in photometric noise for fainter stars. Many of the stars above the photometric noise floor are variable stars.
