The bright ridge running diagonally from the upper left to the lower right corresponds to the Orion Bar, a photon-dominated interface shaped by strong UV radiation from the nearby Trapezium Cluster. The structure reveals fine filaments, embedded stars, and illuminated gas layers characteristic of this transitional region between the H II region and the molecular cloud.
