Red, green, and blue image of RS Oph (position indicated with red ticks) and its surrounding emission. Each of the three channels is a block-summed difference image (see Figure 3). Blue corresponds to Hα–luminance; green corresponds to [N II]–luminance; and red corresponds to [S II]–luminance. The intensity scaling of each channel has been adjusted individually to highlight the emission features.
