A summary of different problems in astronomy that can be solved with different machine learning techniques. Each example is illustrated with an example Uniform Manifold Approximation and Projection (UMAP) plot (see Section 4.4), which is a low-dimensional embedding of a high-dimensional data space where each point represents a different image or sample in the dataset.
