Units in galpy: illustration of the use of the galpy.util.bovy_conversion subpackage for conversion between physical units where the circular velocity is 220 km s⁻¹ at R = 8 kpc and galpy's natural units where velocities and positions are scaled by these. Physical units are obtained by multiplying output in natural units by these factors.
