Current observational measurements of the low-redshift baryon census. From the DM−z relation of fast radio bursts (FRBs), 83% ± 6% of the cosmic baryons in the diffuse form are derived. The values in collapsed forms, including in galaxies, the circumgalactic medium (CGM), the intercluster medium (ICM), and cold gas, are adjusted from Shull et al. (2012). Collapsed phases (galaxies, CGM, ICM, and cold neutral gas) contribute 17% ± 4% of the total cosmic baryons. From our study, almost 100% cosmic baryons are found in the late-time universe.
