The diameter ﹩{d}_{\max }﹩ of the largest dust particles that can be blown away by escaping water vapor at the sublimation front and at the cometary nucleus surface, respectively. The horizontal axis is the radius R of the primitive region normalized by the initial radius R0, where R/R0 = 1 represents the initial state and R/R0 = 0 represents the state when the water ice is completely depleted.
