Histogram of switchback parameter (Z) in the sub-Alfvenic solar wind and the neighboring super-Alfvénic solar wind intervals observed by PSP (see Figure 1 and the text in Section 3). The vertical line indicates the value Z = 1/2, which corresponds to a polarity-reversed magnetic field. Higher Z values represent stronger switchback.
