Examples of small looplike brightenings inside the plage or strong network areas of NOAA 12167 during 2014 September 18 (see Figure 3, left panels). The field of view has dimensions of 30″ × 30″. Left column: sharpened 17.1 nm images recorded at 02:59:59, 04:29:59, 09:39:47, and 10:09:47 UT. Right column: corresponding magnetograms recorded at 02:59:50, 04:29:50, 09:39:35, and 10:09:35 UT, and saturated at ±20 G. Again, some of the looplike features (including those marked by arrows) appear to be “unipolar” according to the magnetograms. In the 17.1 nm image taken at 04:29:59 UT, small loops are seen at the footpoints of longer coronal loops.
