s_ad as a function of ﹩{\alpha }_{\mathrm{MLT}}^{-4/3}﹩ for 0.3 M_⊙, (a) 10 Myr or (b) 1 Gyr stellar models at α_MLT = 0.8–1.7 (Δ0.05). We extrapolate to the isentropic value of s_ad at that given age, which drops as a function of age in the pre-main sequence, settling in the main sequence. The trend between s_ad and ﹩{\alpha }_{\mathrm{MLT}}^{-4/3}﹩ also decreases with age.
