Heliosheath flow streamlines and the shock compression ratio are shown as functions of the polar angle θ and for several values of the inner heliosheath thickness, ﹩{\rm{\Delta }}r={r}_{h}(\theta =0^\circ )-{r}_{s}(\theta =0^\circ )﹩. In the top right corner, we present the minimum consistent compression ratio for the shock nose and in the bottom left corner, we show the difference between the nose and tail compression ratio at the termination shock (the input panel plots the normalized difference).
