Leading components of the PCA and our nonlinear embedding show similar trends, as can be seen on the left, where the galaxies are plotting on the mixing angles, but colored by the first leading component (﹩{\nu }_{2}﹩) of the new analysis. The next two components differentiate between blue galaxies, not shown in this figure, and ﹩{\nu }_{5}﹩ resolves the red, as also shown in the previous figure.
