Comparison of the GRB rates over time in the two models. GRBs are populated as a function of the SFR in both models. However, GRBs in Model 2 are only populated in metal-poor environments. The GRB rate is fairly consistent throughout time in Model 1, whereas in Model 2 the rate is enhanced at high redshift, and suppressed at the present day.
